Camera collection shots

This morning I met up with a gentlemen from ebay to buy off his Pentax Asahi.
from previous message he said the light meter was not working so i offered to buy off him cheap.
AUD 40 bucks scored 3 lenses, tele converter, flash, tripod and leather bag... Not bad after all.

Tested out the camera nothing much damaged just the winder stuck after winding it. After hours of cleaning miraculously it works again.

So there I go to clean up the bag and fixing some zipper problem, all set to go.

during evening I had a shooting for my film cameras and testing out some flashes. and here are the results.

RMIT 09

June 14 2009 we had a pot luck party at my house, there were 10 of us (Chloe, Carmen, Elaine, Pinky, Sander, Colin, Samantha, my sister Patty, Craig and I). We were having fun time eating and sharing some stories with laughter.
Not to forget we watched The Beauty & the Geek was hilarious.

After Sander left I thought of doing some experiment with my light painting and double exposure.
in the end it got everyone hyped up especially Colin but left Carmen sleeping quietly around.

We kept on shooting until 4 am in the morning outside my house. Colin was supposed
to be back at 2 am but ended at 4am.

That event sort of marked my RMIT student life there. I want to thank everyone who came and had a great time together. Honestly speaking I wish I can stay longer in RMIT, I felt things really start kicking in that we getting to know each other better and deeper. Frienship started to bond without nationality borders. Well sort of... from Holland, Hong Kong, Australia Singapore and Malaysia!

Lighting Experimenting

Yesterday I was chatting with Teng, a junior of mine during IACT days who have turned to a Photographer and a talent agency scouter. I noticed his blog and get inspired using flash for experiment, and eventually did some light painting too...

Brunswick weekend getaway

The week after our last presentation , on Sunday I've decided to tag Gary and Roger along to Brunswick Street shooting and shopping. Also I've brought my Pentax and new Baldessa I rangefinder camera along to test out the 1st roll. Results not bad but some over exposed due to wide apreture setting (this model has not metering, so just plan lucky guess shooting) here are some results and some shots from my Ist* DS.
