This is what happening in Malaysia?

Today was doing my normal routine surfing Malaysiakini to check the latest updates in Malaysia. Right upon the next few videos it struck me hard and reminds me of the few events happened in Malaysia.

While I'm in RMIT mac la watching this video, I've made a comment to Carmen saying I have not seen Malaysian in united to protest for something good. Over the recent years of mr Badawi and mr Najib took up the role as Prime Minister of Malaysia, there are several major events did happened in Malaysia. it is obvious enough that Barisan National has lost their trust and power to Malaysian. They need to wake up from their denial and admit their mistakes of ruling the country as the way they like.

Now let me recall for you dear Prime Minister of what actually happened.

1) September 26, 2007 - Bar Council Walk
"When lawyers walk, there must be something wrong in the country"


2) November 13, 2007 - Bersih protest at Kuala Lumpur
"Bersih" is a movement to urge the Government to have a fair election. This was a Yellow colour coded rally.


3) January 29, 2009 - Kugan's funaral



4) May 20, 2009 - Candle Protest in Serdang
Just a simple protest but ended up a few unfazed arrest. This is a Black colour coded protest.



4) July 22, 2009 - Teoh Beng Hock's death
After Kugan's case thought will give a warning lesson to the Government. But I guess I'm wrong. For your information Kugan's case is still on investigation.


5) August 01, 2009 - PAS protest to anti-ISA in Kuala Lumpur
This is the recent protest. As you can see the numbers has increased tremendously.
This is a Red colour coded rally.


These are a few videos that what happened just less than 3 years. Obviously SOMETHING is wrong in the country and the government must act now to calm the people and LISTEN to them.

Country is rule by its people not the government.

Let us focus back to WAWASAN 2020 for Malaysia good.

This is not over yet

Kugan died 6 months ago because of his death while in police detention, his case has raised issues about the ability of Police force in Malaysia. Is was a shame to the police force that they had overused their power and take matter in to their own hands. This has caused plenty of unanswered questions.

Police are suppose to protect the innocent and the people not to rob steal and kill the people you are meant to protect.

6 months after Kugan's death comes Teoh Beng Hock case with the MACC. The people has spoken and angered about it. And as I thought the government has learn their lesson, but I was wrong. NO!

I quoted a phrase from a Chairman from BAR "when lawyers walk, there must be wrong in the system" during the major walk in Putera Jaya. That event was a wake up call for the government to do things effectively and fairly.

I do hope Mr Najib wakes up from his denial dream and lead the country as he should be and stop pulling useless political stuns to trick the people. Like Yasmin Ahmad said we are not small kid and People will do something about it.

I'm sorry Mr Najib, stop the crap and start shaping the nation towards the Wawasan 2020.

1958-2009 - Yasmin Ahmad

On Sunday morning after church was browsing my Facebook via my handphone... So shocking i am saw CS's Facebook status that Our Beloved Story Teller Yasmin Ahmad has passed.

Kak Yasmin has taught us a lot through her National festive ads and her movies of what it takes to be a Malaysian. A true Malaysian which contain one race... which is Malaysian. She is the only one that broke all racial barrier and protrayed what is Malaysian is like to the other nations. Unlike current Prime Minster talked alot of One Malaysian but no acting taken to prove what he has done for Malaysia. Such a shame on us being Malaysian.

I was doing a research on her last semester and wrote a peice of work about her work in Commercials and movie text to Malaysia. and I was anticipating her movie "Talentime" since the trailer.

Although she does not know me and i presonally do not know her as well, but some how i felt that she has been a part of my family. Since her passed i felt like I have ost someone in my life... perhaps i have been reading her blog often and I was growing up with her festive ads.

Her passed did reminded me of Markus Ng a highschool friend of mine who had passed this Febuary, somehow they both are similar in some way of their life, how they cared about their country, friends and appreciate life.

I will never forget Yasmin Ahmad's work and her spirit will live in each and every heart of Malaysian. We will be missing your festive ads in the future and your movies too =/

Coincidence or we think alike?

As Tuesday I got off from work and went to city to walked around for tension release. As i come back I noticed there was a single "lily flower" look alike outside my house as i was walking in. As some of you know that the connection of Lily flower and me. So I went ahead took a couple of pictures and decided to send it to Jingle. As I finished taking these pictures, I saw a MMS sent to my phone. It was from Jingle.

Come to my surprise, She sent me a picture of her fishpond that blossomed two wonderful and colourful water lily flower. As excited and surprised that I am I quickly replied her saying that I was planing to send the two pictures to her to via MMS.

Is it that we are so close and think alike and we understand each other so well that we ended up sending the same flower picture of that day and within the 5 minutes gap?

Is this a coincidence or we are just fated to be together or there is something else that we can't imagine and think about.

Surely I am miss her a lot and we both know this is just a temporary period for us to separate to gt a better future. For the better future, for poorer or for worst...

This is what happend to Malaysia now. If this continue like this I can foresee that next election
there will be a big swift from BN to PKR... Mr Najib you leadership skills are truly stunning and ineffective...

彩虹 11/07/2009

Today after work I watched "海角七号" again since the last time was with Jingle back in Bathurst. After watching this somehow I felt the sorrow and heartache of the Japanese teacher who wrote the letter. Missing someone and leaving them in one place and I got to go another place. The songs are so fascinating yet simple and sentimental. After watching the movie just felt need to write down the following sentence. To tell her how much I miss her.
